Good morning run today. The first real crispy bitter cold day that almost made me not want to get out and run. If it wasn't for Chris, Howard, Ryan, and my cousin Courtney this morning may have been a lazy day, and we all know that lazy days are way too easy to get away with.

Saturday runs have started, Kava House @ 7 am (kalamazoo and m-6), everyone is welcome, we run in ANY weather so be prepared. Training has been going well, I am just a little skiddish of my bad hamstring so the exercise bike and the weights have been my friend. I haven't been putting many miles in just yet, I want to be 100% injury free.

I went to to Gazelle Sports tonight to hear Scott Jurek speak about the book Born to Run, and heard a key piece of motivation. He runs 100 mile races and then some, and he said a key piece of his success is to never give up. Whether you run 1 mile or 100 miles at a time, you just can't give up, ever!

Today Steve and Amy Miles brought baby Abby, and Me and my Abby to Ann Arbor to see the Ronald McDonald House. We also drove the running route home to see what we were up against. I am really excited about this, the only thing we are going to have to deal with are the stray roosters running around.
